- Conclusions from the research and how loosening can be prevented.
COURSE CONTENT BY EXPERT: The course content has been prepared by Dr Bill Eccles (CEng FIMechE BSc PhD) of Bolt Science. Bill has completed over 100+ training courses on the technical aspects of bolting. He has acted as an expert witness in some notable accidents in which bolting issues were the primary cause of failure. Bill has a Doctorate on the phenomenon of self-loosening of threaded fasteners.
TRAINING PRESENTER: The course will be presented by Thomas Llewellyn (CEng, MIMechE, BEng). Thomas’s background is in Motorcycle Design Engineering. Prior to forming a consultancy company (Coexlion Limited) in 2021, he worked as a design engineer. His first 15 years were spent at Triumph Motorcycles in the UK, before he moved to India with his family, initially as head of chassis design in Hero MotoCorp, and then as the senior director of mechanical engineering at Ola Electric. Coexlion is licenced to deliver the Bolt Science training on behalf of Dr Bill Eccles for the Asian region. Thomas has been fully trained by Bill Eccles in the UK on the delivery of the course.
